Let's talk about collecting art...

Well, you have to have something to hang on your walls, don't you? Throughout the years I have found that selecting a work of art to display at home can be very confusing and intimidating to people. I'm talking about original, quality works of art. Not an Elvis painting or those dogs playing poker. I'm not talking about something kitschy you have that you display just for fun. All of that is okay, and you shouldn't hesitate to assert your own tastes and poke some fun at the art world at the same time. But you can learn some of the do's and don'ts of collecting fine art, and you don't have to have a lot of money to begin.
